PREMIER WORK EXPERIENCE

Contra Costa Public Defender’s Office was Justin Chou’s first destination after law school. There, he spent hundreds of hours in the courtroom, appearing daily in courthouses across the county.

He then joined Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger, the historic San Francisco personal injury law firm.

While his wife completed MD residency, he teamed up with Commins, Knudsen & Chou, applying his civil litigation skills towards injury suits and business disputes.

HONORS AND SKILLS

When Justin Chou lived in the East Bay, he was proud to give back to the Berkeley Law community by teaching and coaching trial advocacy. In 2014, he coached the Berkeley team to victory at the NITA Tournament of Champions.

Now on the Peninsula, he continues his participation less proudly but no less rigorously, teaching oral advocacy and evidence at Stanford Law.

For much of his career, Justin Chou has also been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star - an honor granted to the top 2.5% of ranked lawyers.
