Stanford Lecture

I recently had the privilege to deliver a lecture on medical malpractice in anesthesiology at Stanford. The invitation itself was a meaningful opportunity - not only to share my perspective as a litigator, but to engage with the next generation of physicians and healthcare leaders on a subject that sits at the intersection of law and medicine.

In my practice, I have found that medical malpractice rarely arises from individual negligence alone. More often, it stems from systemic issues - communication failures, diagnostic delays, and the moments where institutional safeguards fall short. The lecture offered a constructive forum for discussing how attorneys and clinicians can work together toward the shared goal of patient safety and provider support.

I left the engagement both grateful for the opportunity and inspired by the thoughtful questions and genuine commitment demonstrated by the senior residents. For those seeking to understand how to navigate these complex matters, our firm is pleased to assist.
